Geology Place named PARTINELONE, clay-limestone soils with bands of schist .
Method of cultivation Traditional.
Vine variety 80 % GRENACHE 20 % NIELLUCIU
Density 4000 feet / hectare.
Yield 50 hl / ha.
Vintage Manual, grape selection, they should be wholesome and ripe.
Vinification Grapes are destemmed, macerated in stainless steel tanks under the controlled temperature between 25° and 30° C for 12-15 days. Every day pumping over for an hour. Then the grapes are removed from fermentation vats and pressed. First fermentation wine and free run are mixed.
Fermentation In stainless steel tanks, thermo regulation at 18°C, from 15 to 20 days. Primary fermentation and malolactic fermentaion take place before racking.
Maturation 12 months minimum in stainless steel tanks.
Filtration Light filtration through filter pads  before bottling.

Comments on tasting

Robe: Beautiful dark red cherry robe.

The Nose: The complex bouquet is composed of some fruity grades (red fruit: raspberry, cherry, with a touch of licorice)

The mouth:  ample, fat, voluptuous, soft, with a long finish.

How to drink it

An ideal wine to accompany beef ribs, lamb leg, cheese…

Served at ambient temperature but can be served a little bit cooler in summer.

Wine can be conserved from 5 to 10 years. The bottles should also be laid down horizontally in a dark place.
